Welcome to my website! I hope after you've looked through this, you leave with a better understanding of who I am and what I enjoy in my free time!

Who I Am

My true academic love lies in the history of art, particularly the transformative era of the Italian Renaissance. The works of Da Vinci, Michelangelo, and Raphael are more than paintings; they are complex documents of innovation, philosophy, and political upheaval. This intellectual pursuit is matched only by my deep commitment to activism and advocacy. I believe that understanding the past gives us the perspective to fight for a better, more equitable present. This dual focus—the appreciation of beauty and the fight for justice—is the true compass of my path. My love for history and human stories extends to the literary world. My shelves are weighted with classics, from Roman poets to 19th-century novelists, as well as compelling historical fiction and romance novels that explore the depth of human connection across time. This scholarly life has also taken me across borders. I've had the immense privilege of tracing history's footsteps in Paris, Rome, Venice, and Florence, witnessing the masters' works firsthand. Beyond Europe, my travels to Amsterdam and India have broadened my world view, connecting the art on the canvas to the cultures that inform it.
